Todoist: This is the Better To-do Application

Todoist iPad app

Todoist is an excellent and beautiful to-do list or task management application for that iPad and apple iphone, Android, Mac and Windows, and browsers. Its iPad application just arrived on the scene just a little over the other day and that i installed it that very same day. Within 24 hrs of beginning by using it, I’d registered for any premium account, installed the Mac application, and switched over entirely to Todoist across my products.

For me personally, that’s a large deal – when i depend heavily on the great task management application to operate my work and existence. I am not a large energy user of calendar applications, but controlling tasks is one thing I’m enthusiastic about and centered on day in and day trip.

I’ve used lots of to-do and task management applications through the years – from Outlook Tasks and OneNote, to Pocket Informant on Windows Mobile, to keep in mind the Milk and Toodledo on the internet and around the apple iphone, to Things and OmniFocus around the iPad and also the Mac, and many lately Wunderlist due mainly to the mix platform (Android and iOS) abilities. Therefore it requires a lot to have an application within this category to thrill me. Actually, much more nowadays, because now I would like an application that actually works great on Mac, iOS, and Android.

Todoist Add Task

And Todoist has knocked my socks removed from First Day. Here are the explanations why:

- It features a minimalist, ultra-neat and simply beautiful UI – and that’s the situation everywhere that I’m utilizing it. Around the iPad, on my small iMac, on my small Universe Note 2 and today on the new Nexus 7 too. Despite the fact that I do not require it frequently, the net application is a lot of same. Just superb interface design throughout.

-  It’s way over only a good looks though. It provides an excellent group of effective features too. The disposable form of the iOS application offers these functions:

• Synchronize your tasks across all of your products!
• Save your valuable todo list towards the cloud (Todoist.com)
• Add and manage limitless tasks and sub-tasks
• Get organized with effective features for example payment dates, recurring dates, sub-tasks, task focal points, and colored projects
• Organize tasks into projects and sub-projects
• Access your career manager while being offline

I’ve elected for that premium account (available via In-Application buy for $29) – which brings  capabilities including these:

▸ Setup and receive memory joggers through SMS, email, or push notices
▸ Get much more organized using task notes, colorable labels, and effective filters
▸ Track and enhance your productivity on Todoist.com

- Sync works very easily and very fast across all products – Android, iOS, and Mac.

- It causes it to be simple and easy , elegant to deal with such things as insertion of dates for tasks and recurring tasks. For example when entering a deadline you can easily enter Today, Tomorrow, Wednesday, or ‘every day’. With recurring tasks you should use ‘every’ and ‘after’ as beginning points and simply create tasks for each fourth Friday, for instance, or every Monday beginning August fifth. It is also very fast and simple to postpone and adjust payment dates.

- It provides a really nice group of default sights to determine what’s in your plate tasks-smart. Included in this are Today seven days tasks by Priority 1,2,3,4 and tasks without any deadline.Obviously you can also take a look at tasks for every project and filter by labels too.

- Todoist transmits a regular digest email – with all of the to-dos during the day.

Before using Todoist I’d thought for any very long time the Things application was the most amazing task manager application I’d seen and OmniFocus was probably the most effective and efficient. The Todoist UI is much more attractive than Things and it is sill got all of the energy user features I would like (though it might not have as much as OmniFocus).

Todoist is just the better to-do application I have seen – for me personally the right blend of the greatest features and abilities of individuals other applications I’ve used before.

Here’s an Application Store link for Todoist it’s a universal application designed for the iPad and apple iphone along with a free application by having an In-Application purchase choice for reasonably limited account as pointed out above.
